W3C Web Standards Compliancy
I fixed the flash banner so that it displays on most modern (all I think ...) browsers; however, I removed the code that caused it to be NON-W3C Compliant. That, from what I understand, was the only part of the site that came up "invalid" .. really the code that was invalid was just being phased out.. I kept it in, for backwards compatibility, ... as I said now, I think I found a work around, that keeps it displaying... AND makes it compatible 
Menus
I have also shortened some of the main Navigation text, so that people who use lower resolutiions will have less of the menu wrapped. It still appears wrapped, from what I can tell; although, its no longer nearly two lines of wrapped menus.
